Starr Pass Golf Suites is a beautiful location to visit. We stayed in a studio and we were pleasantly surprised by all it had. We hardly missed not having a 1 bdrm unit. The restaurant was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. The check-in desk was difficult to locate. The downsides for us were that we felt penalized for using our timeshare to stay there, because they told us we had to use the back gate to access the pool, instead of the front gate like everyone else. Indeed our key only worked at the back gate. It was an inconvenient walk and definitely sent a negative message. The tennis/pickleball courts are badly in need of repair. After we played pickleball on the nearest court it appeared that staff pulled up the plastic mesh court so we couldnβt play there, again sending a negative message. It would have been better to have signs indicating the court was closed. The next day we played on the furthest court and they seemed to leave the floor intact afterwards. We also saw others playing tennis on the furthest court as well. Also, not a fault of Starr Pass, we had a 1.5 inch cockroach in our bathroom sink, so be sure to empty garbage daily. We feel no need to return, but it was

Nice place. Didn't get to try the gold course or pool. We had what they referred to as a studio suite. In reality it was a hotel room with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room we had connected to another one bedroom place, and you could hear every conversation they had next door. They had two small children, one a baby who cried ALL the time. The room had no sink or dishwasher, so we had to call for service daily to get the coffee cups washed. The parking was odd. They had "group" parking lots, where you had to park. There was only one handicap spot in the lot we parked, which didn't really matter since you had to walk to get to the parking lot. The staff were friendly. One person who serviced our room had a speech impediment which made it difficult to understand him, but he did the job and was polite. Finding the check in location was a journey. There were no signs pointing the way. I ran into two young ladies who were also trying to find it, so I had company finding the place. Once found, the staff was friendly and helpful. The weather was beautiful. The scenery gorgeous. We ate in the on-site restaurant one night. The food was okay, nothing special.

This quiet resort just outside Tucson is perfect for families seeking relaxation and beautiful desert views. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable, with a kitchen, pool with cabanas, hot tub, and golf course. Staff are friendly and helpful, and on-site amenities like good beers on tap add to the experience. While a car is needed to explore the area, itβs a wonderful spot for a serene family vacation, combining luxury, outdoor activities, and stunning scenery.

The front desk was a little confusing to find (it is around the outside to the right of the main entrance, at the beginning of the drop off area). But the staff was friendly and helpful. The space was perfect, we loved that the kitchen was fully stocked all we had to do was bring in the food. A few things in the unit could use some repairs, but all of it was minor, most of it was well kept and the room was very clean. The area is beautiful, and even though the parking structure was in part of our view, it did not detract from the overall view of the beautiful desert and sunrises and sunsets. I wish we had more time here. This will be added to our list for places to stay especially for future longer stays.
